Sunshine’s love and ease around children has been a very natural interaction. She is very respectful and gentle. She encourages those who are shy and only brings a positive experience to those she has met in the past 14 years. From Maine, to North Carolina and more recently in England, kids are drawn to her loving ways as she lifts their spirits and brings a smile to everyone who is around her.
As her own unique gifts began to emerge this miniature horse has also taught me over the years how to intuitively connect with her. We have developed a beautiful relationship as she channels poetry to me. Now over 80 poems later, she has published two poetry books. Each card I hand drew with her support and guidance, along with people who encouraged me to activate my inner artist! This personal development experience has uncovered an enjoyment in drawing. When Sunshine encouraged me to create the artwork for her first Oracle Deck, I found every reason to engage other people for this project. One by one, each person declined, until there was a breakthrough. The creativity from within was being called to be expressed through these 34 cards. Yet my inner voice was reminding me that I am not an artist, look at the amazing oracle decks that are on the market! How could I compare? Judging my abilities against others was daunting, and yet Sunshine continued to guide me to get out of my own way. This was a project to be enjoyed and trust in the images that were being created. So here we are, one year later. And I am excited and proud to share that I broke through all the doubt. Another layer of trusting in the process and allowing these cards to be drawn from a place of peace, joy, and the continued vision from Sunshine.The Oracle Deck and accompanying Poetry Book is filled with profound insight that will enlighten you as it does me, every day to remember the harmony of ALL and the incredible Beings that WE are.

When friends began reading these poems to their children, and then sharing how it was helping them unwind at bed time, it brought an additional meaning to the gift of Sunshine’s poetry.
From kids to Elders these poems have been bringing inspiration, guidance and reminders that the simplicity of connecting to our Natural World brings healing and heart warming wisdom. Sunshine loves to create the opportunity to be in the NOW and each poem brings a sense of joy, a smile and awakens your inner knowing.
The book began to take on a new role at gatherings, meditation groups and friendship circles. I would invite people to give me a page number, just like picking an Oracle card from a deck. When they read the accompanying poem, it ALWAYS resonated as a profound message for them. The idea of the Oracle deck began to become reality about a year ago. Sunshine insisted that she be represented in almost every card, so seeking her out is also another fun layer to the deck.
